Welcome to the Callaghan Winter Sports Club! The Callaghan Winter Sports Club (CWSC) mission is to promote and conduct Nordic winter activities and competitions including Cross Country, Biathlon, Ski Jumping, and Nordic Combined. The club was created to encourage the development of nordic sports in the Sea to Sky corridor as well as to encourage and aid in the development of coaches and officials. Based at the Whistler Olympic Park, host venue for the 2010 Winter Olympics, CWSC is able to utilize the world class facilities and incredible snow conditions. We are an affiliated club of Ski Jumping/Nordic Combined Canada and Biathlon Canada and our valued partners include Squamish Nordic Ski Club, West Coast Nordic Ski Club, CALOC, and VANOC. |

Loppet Results Thanks to everyone that came out to the 2nd Annual CWSC Loppet at Whistler Olympic Park. The weather was awesome, the course was fun, and the food was good! - Closed for Olympics Feb. 1 – 28th
- Reopening Mar. 1 through April 18th
- 30kms of WOP ski trails, 42kms of Callaghan Country trails
- 15kms for snowshoeing
- All parking will be from the newly expanded Callaghan Country base with room for at least 225 cars.
- A warming hut will be available for the public at the base to make programs easy to manage.
Seasonal Equipment Rentals Cross Country Connections provides all CWSC members a 25% discount on theirr Seasonal Rentals: - Child – Club rate $75 (Regular rate: $99 )
- Youth – Club rate $112.50 (Regular rate: $150)
- Adult – Club rate $150 (Regular rate: $199)

Registration is now available for all our programs! For the 2009-2010 season they are somewhat limited in scope and modified in light of the fact that Whistler Olympic Park will be hosting all of the Nordic events in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Cross Country Skiing Biathlon - Biathlon Bears: Offered with the cooperation of our partner club, West Coast Nordic this is the national junior development program for biathlon. Participants will have the opportunity to earn skill badges as they move through the biathlon program covering ski technique, marksmanship skills, and general fitness.
